He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen Griffey and Pansy Mae Hays; and his brothers, Kevin, Brian and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his children, Brittany Stuart (Jake Goetzman) of Muscatine, Joshua Alan Griffey of Muscatine, Isaiah James Griffey of Muscatine and Elijah Lee Griffey of Iowa City; his grandchild Kennedy Goetzman; and his siblings, Bill of Muscatine, Jay Griffey of Muscatine, Debbie Morse (Wayne) of Bettendorf, Jackie Brockert (Marvin) of Muscatine, Patty Griffen (Jimmy) of Cairo, GA and Debbie Jones of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Scott.
