It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Elaine Schmidt (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benard Johnson and Shirley Johnson (Hohl); and her brother Gary Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Rick Staats and Sherry Wolf (Darin); her grandchildren, Aaron Staats (Kaley), Ryan Staats, Danielle BrownWolf (Brandon), Dylan Wolf (Emily), Brittany Hamer (Alex) and Brandon Wolf (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Levi Wolf, Addison BrownWolf and Peyton BrownWolf.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Firefighters Association of Muscatine.
