He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Everhart and Gertrude Everhart (Eggen); his parents-in-law, Betty and Walter Kleist; his sister Nancy Everhart; his sister-in-law Karen Everhart; and his brother Richard Everhart.

He is survived by: his brothers, Boonie, Andy, Freddie, Jim, Danny and Mike; his friends, Mike Klein, Paul Haller, Tim Christensen and Toby Sanders; his brothers, Matt Everhart, Tony Kern and Justin Bishop; his wife Vicki Everhart; his children, Michelle Wright of Oakdale, Joshua Everhart (Jodee) of Woodbury, Alexandrea Colberg, Adam Roush of Fairfield and Serena Everhart (Connor McCourtney) of North Aurora, Illinois; his grandchildren, Leo, Stella, Iris, Lily Wright, Dayne, Mila Everhart, Amellee, Daphne Colberg and Piper McCourtney; his great grandchild Jace Everhart; his siblings, Diane Bedford, Sid Davidson of Arizona City, John Everhart (Ruth) of Blue Grass, Aida Everhart of Escondido, David Everhart of Muscatine, Becki Petersen (Gary) of Muscatine, Brian Everhart (Kelly) of Muscatine, Joe Everhart and Jeanne Bishop of Letts, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Sarah, Matt, Angie, Tatia, Jenny, Katie, Mike, Ethan, Brianna, Fran, Cara, Shea, Heather, Jason, Chance, Cord and Trevor. He is also survived by 25 great nieces and nephews; and eight great great nieces and nephews.
