She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald McDaniel and Genevieve Hatfield McDaniel; and her brother Stephen McDaniel. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Petersen of Muscatine; her daughters, Angie Jensen (Glenn) and Amy Petersen; her grandchildren, Abby Emery (Nick), Dakota Horton, Kelsey Hodges (Damaso), Emily Jensen, DJ Petersen and Jacob Wiley; her great grandchildren, Ella, Isla, Elise, Harper, Patience, Eliora, Canaan and Micah; and her siblings, Clarence'Bill'Higgerson, James (Kay McDaniel) and Connie (Shelby Whitlow).
