It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Marilyn Nelson of Nashua, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Brown and Helen Brown (Springer); her brothers, Kenneth and Dale Brown; and her great grandchild Kaden Wilken.

She is survived by : her husband Jim Nelson of Nashua; her children, Erik Nelson (Cindi), Barry Nelson of Nashua and Deb Marth (Brian) of Urbandale; and her grandchildren, Chad Nelson, Kurt Nelson, Erika White, Sara Wilken, Abby Hejlik, Brianna Johnson and Beau Marth. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
