She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Logan and Rose Logan (Frascht); and her siblings, Robert Logan (Doris), Marvin Logan (In Infancy), Earl Logan (Thelma), Kenneth Logan (Shirley) and Arlene Chesnut (Roger).
She is survived by: her husband Joe Merfeld of Nashua; her children, Steve Merfeld (Kendra) of Charles City, Andrew Merfeld (Lisa) of Clive and Tracy Mikles (Shawn) of Johnston; and her grandchildren, Sarah Mikles (Noah Oliver), Matthew Mikles, Kayden Merfeld, Merrick Merfeld and Max Merfeld. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Hugeback & Johnson Funeral Home - Nashua (319 Main St, Nashua, IA 50658). Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church - Nashua (602 Cedar St, Nashua, IA 50658).
