With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen L. Orme of Neola, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Moen and Fern Moen (Miller); her husband Ruel E. Orme; her brother Arthur Dean Moen; her daughter-in-law Sharon Orme; and her sister-in-law Martha Moen.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Orme of Denton, NE. and Randy Orme (Bonnie) of Red Oak, IA.; her grandchildren, Amy Smith of Council Bluffs, Jason Orme (Sara) of Red Oak, Lucas Orme (Julie) of Red Oak and Caleb Orme (Abbey) of Red Oak; her great grandchildren, Chloe Bennett, Starr Smith, Boone, Josie, Penny, Henry, James and Owen Orme; and her brother Don Moen of Council Bluffs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church-Neola (400 2nd St, Neola, IA 51559). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
