She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Corbin and Barbara Ball; her stepfather Clyde Ball; and her brothers, John Corbin, Ralph Corbin and Rex Ball.

She is survived by : her husband Rick of Nevada; her children, Celeste Goerner (Franklin) of Colo, Melissa Ellis (Ashton) of Nevada and Nicholas Atkinson (Christina) of Zearing; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Khan (Nathan), Ananaki, Nephilim Ellis, Anthony, Tyler, Landon, Avary Jones, Ruckus and Sophia Atkinson; her stepmother Sandy Corbin of Des Moines; her siblings, Diana McCray (Louis) of Des Moines, Kent Corbin (Teri) of Urbandale and Dan Corbin (Kay) of Des Moines; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Atkinson of Nevada and Edna Foster (Fred) of Trenton, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA).
