We announce the death of Diane Trumbauer (Nevada, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Diane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Alcorn and Viola Alcorn (Koschmeder); her husband David V. Trumbauer; and her siblings, Ina Goff and Robert Alcorn.
She is survived by: her children, Mark of Palm City and Brenda Dryer (W. Scott) of Ames; her grandchildren, William Michael Dryer (Courtney) of Nevada, Katharine Elsa Dryer of Austin and Matthew David Dryer of Ames; her great grandchild Kaysen Scott Dryer of Nevada; and her brother David Alcorn of Whitsett.
The family has requested no flowers. Memorials will be directed to the LWML Iowa West District, Light that Endures Fund (LWML IWD).
