He is survived by: his wife Nora Jane of Nevada; his children, Matthew Mitchell (Jennie) of Des Moines and Melanie Moore (Justin) of Huxley; his grandchildren, Michael Mitchell of Des Moines, Jackson and Carter Moore of Huxley; his brother Chet Mitchell (Robin) of Nevada; and his sister-in-law Marian Mitchell of Nevada.
