He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayne Clarence and Sayde Josephine Mjelde (Swindeck). He is survived by: his wife Linda Janell Keen of Nevada; his son Brett Mjelde (Carly) of Council Bluffs, IA; his grandchildren, Colin, Charlotte, Andrew and Ethan; his daughter Fara Capman of Des Moines; and his siblings, Larry Mjelde (Jerry) of Gig Harbor, WA and Denise Bates of Fairbanks, AK..
