He was predeceased by: his son Terry Adams; his parents, Lester Adams and Ruby Adams Peak; and his siblings, Paul, Billy, Opal and Ruth.
He is survived by: his son Kenny Adams (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Garrett Adams, Robert Adams (Chris) and Tonya Habhab. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; along with a host of other family members and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (644 W 190th St, Ames, IA 50010).
