We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2024, at the age of 79, James O. Hunter Jr. (Nevada, Iowa), born in Bethany, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James O Hunter Sr. and Stella Burton; his siblings, Richard Hunter and Dixie Hein; and his grandson Joshua.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mann of Nevada; his children, James O. "Bo" II Hunter (Dana) of Burlington, Marcy Montgomery (Dan) of Nevada and John Hunter (Tami) of St. Anthony; his grandchildren, Craig, Nicole, Kelsey, Rachael, Cale, Tressa and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Keaton, Kree, Jack and Opal; and his brother John Hunter (Nancy) of Fernald.

Memorial contributions may be made to Israel Family Hospice House in memory of James.
