She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Hazel Mae Wright (Lage). She is survived by: her husband Rory Mikel Mason of Nevada; her sons, Dylan and Paul Mason; and her siblings, Thomas Wright (Susan) of Collins, James Jr. Wright (Sarah) of Collins and Rebecca Minnick (Wayne) of Ames.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1036 7th St, Nevada, IA 50201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to establish a scholarship in Janelle's name.
