She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Meindl and Inez Meindl. She is survived by: her husband Dan of Nevada; her daughter Jennifer Smith (Karl) of Altoona; her grandson Zach Miller of Pleasant Hill; and her sisters, Colleen Salas (Alfredo) of Dumas and Rosalie Meindl of Amarillo, Texas..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, with their use to be determined at a later date.
