He is survived by : his wife Fran of Nevada; his children, Jason Lanning of Altoona, Jennifer Sloan (Robert) of Kansas City and Jackie Wilson (Brandon) of Colo; his grandchildren, Keaton, Holden Fry, Ella, Maya Lanning and Triffin Farrar; and his siblings, Denny Lanning (Nancy) of Melbourne, Terry Lanning of Davis, CA and Vivian Gagen of Ankeny.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nevada Food at First Food Bank.
