He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Trygstad and Ruby L. Trygstad (Haugen); his grandparents, Art, Helen Haugen, Nels and Marie Trygstad; his parents-in-law, Richard and Donna Driskell; his brother-in-law Pat Dyrland; his nephew Tyler Driskell; and his sister-in-law Sandra Driskell.

He is survived by: his wife Lori of Nevada; his children, Kari Lieffort of Watertown, SD, Chad Fry (Jilian) of Nevada, Amber Tuhn (Dan) of Baxter and Caden Trygstad (Cassidy) of Nevada; his grandchildren, Keaton, Holden Fry, Elie Tuhn (Spencer Moon), Emersen, Maddux Tuhn and Colby Fry; his siblings, Bev Morrison (Jim) of Casa Grande, AZ, Beth Thoreson (Jim) of Willow Lake, SD, Barb Fox (Tony) of Chandler, AZ, GeeGee Anderson (Dave) of Bismarck, ND and Rose Fleming (Loren) of Florence, SD; his aunts, Gloria York, Joan Haugen and Bev Haugen; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Driskell (Merry), Doug Driskell and Lisa Reitelbach (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“My Sympathies to all of Rick's family. It's been decades since I saw Rick. But I have been thinking of the fun and fond memories I have from doing things with him when we were kids.
