It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Roy Klopping of Nevada, Iowa, born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev Roy Klopping and Rena Klopping (Comley); his wife Karen Taylor; and his sister Darlene Lindstrom. He is survived by : his daughters, Lynne Wilkinson (Kim) of Nevada and Jill Otto (Todd) of Nevada; his grandchildren, Kory Wilkinson (Erin), Kacie Marich (Chris), Taylor Otto and Braydon Otto; and his great grandchildren, Lexi, Zack, Lily Wilkinson, Ada, Brynn and Norah Marich.

Memorial contributions may be made to Story Medical or Memorial Lutheran Church in memory of Bob.

“Met Bob when I moved to Nevada in the 4th grade. He was a fun, likable guy! Then he was not with our Centennial Class of 1953 when he moved to Wyoming for most of the rest of our school years. We were glad to have him him re-join us when we were juniors, but he confided in me that his heart wasn't really in it... think he was still a Cowboy!?
