It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann E. Helling of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kempker and Ida Kempker (Overberg); her grandchildren, Dean Christoph and Matthew Helling; her daughter-in-law Sharon Helling; her brothers, Dennis Kempker (Jane) and Robert Kempker; and her brother-in-law Ed Helling (Yvonne).

She is survived by: her child Bernie; her husband Richard Helling; her children, Bernadette Christoph (Dave) of New Hampton, John Helling (Linda) of Harlan, IA, Dale Helling W. (Jo), Larry Helling (Jan) of Marion and Leon Helling (Jean) of Ankeny, IA; her sisters, Bernice Sokolik (Jerome) of Bettendorf and Dorothy Pollpeter (Mark) of West Point, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Kempker of Ft. Madison, Gene Helling (Charlene) of Lee's Summit, MO, Stanley Helling (Lillian) of Ft. Madison and Joe Helling (Tom). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
