He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Richter and Delores Richter (Gaede); and his brother Wayne Richter. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his pet Deeder; his siblings, Larry Richter of Decorah, Gery Richter (Cherry) of New Hampton and Karen Utley (Don) of New Hampton; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Ott of New Hampton and Karen Ott of Oelwein.
