The passing of Eleanor Hedwig Schwickerath of New Hampton, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rosonke and Elizabeth Rosonke (Hoffman); her husband Cletus; her brothers, Leonard (Norma), Francis and Norbert Rosonke; and her brothers-in-law, Charlie Kramer and Nick Tilkes.
She is survived by: her children, Craig (Deb) of Cedar Falls, Tony (Janet) of New Hampton, Scott (Julie) of Remsen and Patrice Schilling (Brian) of New Hampton; her siblings, John Rosonke (Mary) of New Hampton, Agnes Kramer of Woden, IA and Jean Tilkes of New Hampton; and her sisters-in-law, LaVonne Rosonke and June Rosonke of New Hampton. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home - New Hampton (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the Parish Scripture Service. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (114 N Wapsi St, North Washington, IA 50659). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery - North Washington (1641 170th St, New Hampton, IA 50659).
