We announce the death of Helen Marie Hartmann of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 87. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Stange and Margaret Stange (Mahler); her brother Arlie Stange; and her niece Shelly Stange (Albert). She is survived by: her husband Albert A. Hartmann of Boyd; her children, Karen Malone (Dave) of Rochester, Kristi Klinkhammer (Steven) of Clinton and Kurt Hartmann (Brenda) of Alden; her brothers, Fred Stange (Jo) and Larry Stange (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Bailey Klinkhammer, Kara Klinkhammer, Tessa Klinkhammer, Jordann Dunlay (John), Jackie Chipp (Levi), Justin Wenzel (MacKenzie) and Lexie Hartmann (Alvaro Lucio); and her great grandchildren, Genieve Dunlay, Jackson Dunlay, McCoy Dunlay, Isabella Chipp, Hayden Chipp, Ellie Chipp and Laney Wenzel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home - New Hampton (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - New Hampton (223 S Water Ave, New Hampton, IA 50659). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the New Hampton City Cemetery (253 S Maple Ave, New Hampton, IA 50659).
