We announce the death of Sharon Kay Johnson of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parent Irene Hanson; her uncle Roy "Joppy" Hatcher (Hattie Hatcher); her aunt Hattie Hatcher; her husband Walter Johnson; her half-brother Victor Hanson; her grandchildren, Jesse Johnson and Nikki Johnson Schluetter; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Hatting, Darlys Cutsforth, Helen Stolfus and Wayne Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Snyder (Dave), Steve Johnson (Kathy), Randy Johnson and Ricky Johnson (Susan Wurzer); her grandchildren, Tori Reicherts (Jason), Mike Johnson (Melissa), Michelle Snyder, Erin Moorman (Jeremy), Christopher Johnson (Lisa), Jenna Corcoran (Will), Laura Johnson and Jared Johnson; her half-siblings, Scott Hanson, Karen Davis and Melody Armstrong (Frank); and her brother-in-law Lowell Johnson (Bunny). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
