She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie G. Stodgell and Mittie Mehaffy Stodgell; her spouse Kendall E. Ping; her son Ronald (Claudia); her son-in-law Bob Prottsman; her siblings, James, John, Maurine, Jean, Valeda and Doris; and her stepbrother Eddie Parr.
She is survived by: her daughter Ramona Prottsman of New London; her grandchildren, Amy Wolfe of New London, Bill Prottsman (Angie) of Burlington, Tammy Levins (Joe) of Burlington, Theresa Cromer (David) of Burlington and Don Ping of Burlington; her great grandchildren, Braydon, Brianna, Cole, Payne, Gregory, Ariel, Ashley, Kyle, Kelsey, Patti, Rob Miller, Breanna and Tyler Mettler; her close friend Susie Keyes (Greg) of Houston; her sister Dorothy Cassidy; Mylee and Halee. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the activity fund at New London Specialty Care.
