She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Prescott and Esther Alma Muenzenmaier Martin; her husband Charles Edward Piper; her son Hal Piper; her great grandchild Nora Moore; and her brothers, Harold and Robert Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Williamson (Reggie) of New London and Jane Hoel (Greg) of Benton, Wisconsin; her daughter-in-law Gerry Piper MacKaben; her grandchildren, Staci Moore, Jess Williamson, Brittony Cummings, Piper Williamson, Nicole Maloney, Justin, Daniel, Michael, Samuel and Kurtis Edwards; and her siblings, Lester Martin of Burlington and Maxine Conn of Nauvoo, Illinois.. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the New London Fire and Rescue.
