He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Clifford and Beulah "Boots" Bouma (Iosbaker); his former wife Kathleen Brubaker; his wife Kathy Bouma of New Sharon; his children, Chris Bouma (Carolyn) of Ellington, MO and Lisa Boyd of New Sharon; his grandchildren, Jessica Ross (Gunnar) of New Sharon, Reece Bouma of Springfield, MO and Briley Bouma of Jefferson, MO; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Colson "C. J."; and his sister Sandy Cornell of Montezuma.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home (308 W Maple St, New Sharon, IA 50207).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MHP Hospice Serenity House.
