He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell McGriff and Ada McGriff (Ladd). He is survived by: his sons, Cary McGriff (Amy) and Kevin McGriff (LaRayne); his grandchildren, Sarah McGriff, Katie Pikul, Megan McGriff, Blake McGriff and Madison McGriff; and his siblings, Alan McGriff of New Sharon, Michael McGriff of New Sharon and Coralou Lundon of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several nephews and great-nephews.
