He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Elmer Elscott; his former wife Sheila Wolver; his wife Katherine Kelso (Revell) of New Sharon; his daughters, Mallerie Elscott of Lynnville and Kelsey Bardwell (Brent) of Searsboro; his mother Cleora Hartmann (McMains); his grandchildren, Hayden, Aubrey, Gunner, Jaxson and Ryleigh; his sisters, Marilyn Williams (Dale) and Maxine Van Wyk; his stepsons, Ryan Kelso (Marissa) and David Kelso (Jen); his nephew Cory Van Wyk; his niece Laci Weter; and his grandparents, Floyd, Pearl McMains, John and Maggie Elscott.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVay Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to in the family's name or the New Sharon Food Pantry.
