With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred M. Wente of New Vienna, Iowa, who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Koch and Isabella Koch (Kramer); and her parents-in-law, William and Catherine Wente. She is survived by: her children, Al Wente (Maria) of New Vienna, IA, Neil Wente (Mary) of New Vienna, IA, Karen Wente of Davenport, IA, Karla Krogman (Pat) of Davenport, IA, Sara Stout (Ron) of Pekin, IL and Tina Lippe (Zack Kurcharski) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Curtis (Sara), Colleen Wente (Jon Savolt) of New Vienna, Katie Wilker (Jon) of Sherrill, Ashley Miles (Tristan) of Dubuque, Brooke of Dubuque, Ryan Wente of New Vienna, Nathan, Ben, Isabella Krogman of Davenport, Dakota Stout of Carbon Cliff, IL, Claire and Adelyn Kurcharski of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Korra, Amelia, Nolan and Cadyn; her sisters, Dorothy Pitz (Bob) and Esther Brehm (Earl); and her in-laws, Walter Wente and Grace McBride (Leo).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kramer Funeral Home (750 12th Ave SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (7401 Columbus St, New Vienna, IA 52065). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Boniface Cemetery.
