She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Spencer Trevethan and Frances Trevethan (Lind); her husband Glen M. Beatty; her siblings, Frances Rogers and Robert Trevethan; and her sister-in-law Norma March (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her children, Steve Beatty of Newton and Susan Swank (Sherman) of Newton; her grandchildren, Chris Lourens (Gerry, Jr.), Michael Beatty, Kelly Dooley (Chad), Peter Swank, Spencer Swank and Jonathan Swank; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Cook of Virginia, Linda Moeller (Harry) of Buckingham, Gary Newman of California, Craig Newman of California and Doug March (Jane) of Newton. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the Jasper County Museum or the Jasper County Courthouse Lighting Fund can be left at the funeral home.
