Ann Bovenkamp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Bovenkamp of Newton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann Bovenkamp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Osborn and Elizabeth Osborn (Nelist); her son Jon Bovenkamp; her son-in-law Steven Johnson; and her sister Aileen Bedell.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Bovenkamp; her children, Michelle Johnson of Des Moines and David Bovenkamp (Anthony Vsetula) of Denver, Colorado; her daughter-in-law Michelle Bovenkamp of Muscatine; and her grandchildren, Abigail Bovenkamp, Lauren Johnson, Nathan Bovenkamp and Nicole Bovenkamp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (210 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials to Peck Childcare or the First United Methodist Church can be left at the church the day of the service or at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
