We bid farewell to Arlene Lucille Boyer of Newton, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Arlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Henry Dammeier and Grace Irene Dammeier (Walker); her husband Ray Boyer; her children, Daryl, Dean Boyer and Debbie Rivet; her granddaughters, Denise Hayden and Anita McGovern; her great grandchildren, Coby Corbett and Trenton Capps; and her siblings, Derald Dammeier, Vera Boles, Merita Dammeier, Hilma McKinney, Marceda Romick, Roma Mosher and Luella Bragg.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Adams of Grinnell, Brad Adams (Gina) of Newton, Cynthia Corbett (Ron) of Marengo, Traci Martin of Colorado, Wendy McGuire of Johnston and Mendy Ward (Tim) of Ankeny; her brother Murry Dammeier (Diane); and her grandchildren, Angela Condon (Jason), Lindsay Boecker (Blake), Shannon Hulbert (Jimmy), Amanda Adams (Seth Griggs), Christopher Adams, Peyton Martin, Bryce McGuire, Harrison McGuire, Kenady Ward, Timothy Ward, Trina Capps, Whitney Rivet, Samantha Hutchings (Jeremy) and Ron J. Corbett (Carrie). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and many more nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pence-Reese Funeral Home (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Foursquare Church (1510 S 8th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Arlene's name to Foursquare Gospel Church in Newton.
