He is survived by: his wife Carol Norris of Newton; his children, Sheri Hart (Dan) of Marshalltown, Lisa Van Gorp (Chris) of Prairie City and Michael Norris (Tara) of Glidden; his grandchildren, Gregory Vasseau (Trisha Van Mannen), Genesee Merical, Oli Hart, Lane Hart (Addison), Max Van Gorp (Hannah), Rory Van Gorp (Amber), Wyatt Van Gorp (Katy), Ben Van Gorp, Christian Norris, Stephanie MacVey (Connor) and Dillin Dahlstrom; his great grandchildren, Raegan, Brason, Waelynn and Rowan; his sisters, Ellen DeVault (Darrell) and Kathy Fifer (Doug); and his friends, Jay and Judy Stevenson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
