Chris Anderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 73, Chris Anderson of Newton, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chris Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Pryor and Marylyn Pryor (Worthington); her uncle Donal Worthington; and her sister-in-law Diane R. Babcock. She is survived by: her husband Jack Roy Anderson; her sons, Joseph R. Anderson (Halee) and C. Scott Anderson; her grandchildren, Brix Anderson, Jaxon Anderson, Joseph Looney and Alison Yvonna Anderson; her cousin Bobbi Bendt; and her brothers, Ray "Skip" Pryor, Kenneth Pryor and David Pryor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (620 S 8th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chris's name to First Baptist Church in Newton.
