She is survived by: her children, Erica Maston (Dale) of Killduff, Gerald Wilcox III (Vanessa) of Newton and Colleen Gillaspie (Jozy) of Newton; her grandchildren, Brooke Zmolek (Miles), Payton Maston, Blake Maston, Xavier Chavez Wells, Logan Wilcox, Allyssa Lepley, Kamiya Lepley, Gavin Lepley, Karson Lepley, Joshua Hefflefinger and Quentin Gillaspie (Lauren); her great grandchild Ella; her brother Gary Smool (Janelle) of Huxley; and her nephews, Justin Smool (Kendra) and Jaron Smool (Taylor).
A memorial service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (314 E 2nd St N, Newton, IA 50208). Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
