He was predeceased by: his father Edward Peterson; and his brothers, Kurtis Peterson and Troy Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Dixie Peterson (Westercamp) of Newton; his brother Kelly Peterson of Newton; his nephews, Josh Peterson (Melissa) of Newton and Christopher Johnson (Elizabeth) of Runnells; and his extended family, Denny and Kim Shutty.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Newton Union Cemetery (1601 W 4th St N, Newton, IA 50208).
Memorials to the Friends of the Library or Progress Industries may be left at the funeral home.
