He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Marvin and Wilma Boothe (Johnson); and his sister Marcia Harger (Ron). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lee Piper of Newton; his son Darrell Keith Boothe, Jr. (DJ); and his grandchildren, Eric Boothe (Lisa), Jonathon Boothe (Brett), Jacob Boothe and Emily Boothe.
