She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Grout and Elizabeth "Betty" Grout (Thoren); and her daughter Lindsey. She is survived by: her brother Jamie Grout (Lynette Baker) of Newton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation, the Salvation Army Food Pantry, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, or Magical Mix Kids (an organization that takes chronically and terminally ill children from the Cedar Valley, Iowa area to Disney World) may be left at the funeral home.
