It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank C. Schwarz of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Schwarz and Mabel Schwarz (Hammer); his former wife Lucy Schwarz; his son Scott Schwarz; and his brother Cliff Schwarz.
He is survived by: his daughter Lyndi Yardley (Brian) of Newton; his grandchildren, Jordan Yardley (Ryan) of Ankeny and Nick Yardley of Newton; his great grandchild Stephanie Parks (Andre) of Newton; his great great grandchild Ryker; his sister Shirley Heck of Newton; his sister-in-law Darlene Schwarz of Baxter; his caregivers, Amber and Buffi; and also, Kaylee, Braelyn, Charli, Sara Whisenand (Dave), Cameron, Carleigh and Cali. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA), sent to the family, or left at Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton.
