He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur F. VerSteeg and Martha Ann VerSteeg (Bachman); his son Eric Allen VerSteeg; and his siblings, Ronnie VerSteeg, Michael VerSteeg, Thomas VerSteeg, Randal VerSteeg and Debra McClurkin.
He is survived by: his wife Medianita VerSteeg of Sagun Reyes; his daughter Aprille Okimi (Josh); and his brothers, Dennis VerSteeg and Richard VerSteeg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newton Seventh-day Adventist Church in memory of Gary.
