He is survived by: his child Roni Kristi (River) of Canada; his wife Margaret Cobbs of Newton; his children, Kristi Sharp of Cape Coral, Bill Cobbs (Stacy) of Newton and Lisa McGee (Rick) of Grinnell; his grandchildren, Ronan Light, Katie Sharp (Matt Rodrique), Bailey Meatyard (Austin), Erick Cobbs (Skylar), Hannah Gerleman (Kyle) and Jerod Merrick; his brothers, Harold Cobbs of California and Barry Cobbs (Ellie) of Texas; and his caregiver Brandy. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name (checks made payable to Margaret Cobbs) may be left at the Legion the day of the celebration or at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
