He was predeceased by : his parents, Anton Golik and Vera Golik (Dernovich); his son Brett Golik; and his brothers, Anton Golik, Jr. and Robert Golik.

He is survived by : his wife Vicki Golik of Newton; his stepson Daniel Banghart of Newton; his grandchildren, Raeanna Banghart and Shelby Banghart; his great grandchildren, Ava Garcia and Daniel James Garcia; his brothers, Richard Golik (Nancy) of Indianola and Don Golik (Betty) of Springfield, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Sally Vasquez (Dan) of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
