We announce the death of James Reeves of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 91. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bernard Reeves, Phyllis Williams, Mary VanSyoc, Martha Pfaff and Dan Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Debra Ford (Dale), James Reeves (Karen) and Jack Reeves (Kristen); his grandchildren, Dustin Ford (Barbie), Dana Gannon (Bob), Jessica Reeves (John Anderson), Clinton Reeves, Jaci Winkelpleck (Zach), Jaden Reeves, Sonny Swank (Hilary) and Cody Swank; and his great grandchildren, Peighton, Preston Ford, Carson, Blaine, Addison Gannon, Meyer Winkelpleck and Lyla Swank. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
