She was predeceased by: her father Robert Biederman; and her brothers, Phil and Dave Biederman. She is survived by: her mother Jean Biederman (Mathre) of Newton; her husband Ken Odland of Newton; and her children, Nathan Odland of Shakopee, MN, Michael Odland (Hope) of Ankeny and Kendra Sorenson (Justin) of Sheboygan, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (309 E 3rd St N, Newton, IA 50208). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations may be made in Jane's memory to International Health Partners USA, or to your local YMCA, reflecting Jane's lifelong commitment to helping others.
