With profound sadness, we say goodbye to JoAnn Nida (Newton, Iowa), born in Centerville, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. JoAnn left this world on May 15, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Frederick Hiatt and Gail Hiatt (Main); her husband LaVerne Nida; her son Randy Nida; and her siblings, Marilyn Molleck, Forrest Jr. and Roger Hiatt.
She is survived by: her sons, David Nida (Cheryl), Craig Nida (Ann), Mark Nida (Carla) and Steven Nida (Jennifer); and her sister Roberta Long. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In honoring JoAnn's memory, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Wesley Life Hospice, or Wake Up Narcolepsy.
