He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Burns and Ardith Burns (Solinger); his wife Judy Burns; and his sister Pam Pettis. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Pohlman (Larry), Terry Burns (Bridget) and Tom Burns (Bert). He is also survived by his children; step-children; grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539).
