We are sad to announce that, on March 10, 2026, at the age of 65, John Weldon Williams of Newton, Iowa, born in Colfax, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John Weldon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Weldon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Williams and Kay Williams (Thompson); his sisters, Donna O'Braza (Mike) and Barb Kinart (Raymond); and his nieces and nephews, Amy Witte (Billy), Angie Berger (Brent), Matt O'Braza (Mandy), Stacy O'Braza-Pereda (Angelie) and Christopher O'Braza. He was also cherished by 13 great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Colfax and can be left at the church, funeral home, or mailed to Coburn Funeral Home, 24 W Howard St, Colfax, Iowa 50054.
