It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon E Woody of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mark Woody and Thelma Woody (Caulkins); his son Steven Woody; and his siblings, Dean Woody and Beverly Sheeler.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Woody of Newton; his children, Joni Woody of Newton, Lisa Blommers (Duane) of Newton and Don Woody (Angie) of Lenexa, Kansas; his grandchildren, Amie Johnson (Eric), Amber McGruder (Troy), Cory Blommers, Stephen Woody (Hannah) and Jered Woody (Brie); his great grandchildren, Kyndra Johnson, Cassie Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Emma McGruder, Lucas McGruder, Camdyn Blommers and Alma Woody; his sister-in-law Virginia Woody of Monroe; and also Ashton Hicks.
