She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thomas and Kathleen Thomas (Driscoll); her husband Charles "Chuck" Shepard; her son Charles "Charlie" Shepard; her sister Margaret; and her son-in-law Ron Green.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kathy Green of Newton and Karen Shepard of Newton; her granddaughters, Jennifer Gulling-Andrews and Kim Meyer (Rob); her great grandchildren, Erin Suttek (Trent Williams) and Ryan Meyer; and her great great grandchildren, Eleanor, Nolan and Ledger.
