She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sample and Mildred Sample; and her husband Ed. She is survived by: her children, Tom Meade (Paula) of Newton and Donna Meade (Mark Yaple) of Ankeny; her granddaughters, Stephanie Gott (Ryan) and Kara Meade; her great grandchildren, Emma Gott, Ava Gott, Grady Gott and Lincoln Gannaway; and her brothers, Lee Sample (Polly), Gene Sample (Nancy) and Vern Sample (Cindy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials to First United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association may be left at the funeral home.
